Chris Smail
Defensive Line

Coach Smail played football at Father Gabriel Richard High School in the 80’s. The school was located on Elizabeth St. in Ann Arbor. The city allowed us to practice at Riverside Park and our home games were played at Pioneer High School.
I played varsity football at Central Michigan and Hillsdale College as a defensive lineman. I learned in college that hard work especially in the off season wins football games. This will be my 7th year coaching football at Father Gabriel Richard H. S. I look forward to working with my fellow coaches to develop the young men entrusted to our care into the scholar athlete God wants them to be.
