Coach Maus graduated from Orchard View High School in 2007 where he was a three sport athlete (Football, Basketball, Track). He then went on to Wayne State University where he played linebacker and fullback for the warriors from 2007-2012. While there he completed his bachelors degree in Kinesiology and eventually went on to be a graduate assistant working with running backs in 2014. Coach Maus has been working in a physical therapy setting since 2019 where he has developed his knowledge in biomechanics and injury rehabilitation and prevention. He lives in Livonia with his wife (Erica) and 3 year old daughter (Tessa) and newborn son (Austin)
